Is a domain name included in my hosting package?
No. Domain registration is charged separately. You will see an option to register your domain name and its price during checkout.
What is a domain name?
A domain name is your website’s address on the internet that people type into their browser to find you — for example, yourbusiness.co.za — and it also lets you create professional custom email addresses like info@yourbusiness.co.za.
Do I need a computer?
No. You can sign up and manage your hosting, and domain on any device.
How fast is the setup process?
Hosting and email accounts are usually active within a few minutes after order and payment confirmation.
Is the hosting for a website or emails?
You can use the hosting for your website, emails, or both.
Which hosting manager does Site Essence use?
We use cPanel.
Do I need a website to use your email hosting?
No, you can use our hosting only for email without launching a website.

Will you help me move my existing website or emails?
Yes. We offer free website and email migrations from your previous host. Just reach out to us after signing up.
What does “pro-rata” mean?
Pro-rata means you only pay for the time you actually use a service, instead of the full monthly or yearly fee.
If you sign up for hosting on the 15th of the month, you’ll only be charged for the remaining days of that month (not the full month). Then on the 1st of the next month, your regular monthly billing will begin.
This ensures you’re only paying for the days you’ve used, especially when starting mid-month or upgrading your plan.
