How do I connect my emails to Gmail, Outlook, and other apps?

You can easily add your email accounts to third-party email apps like Gmail, Outlook, Bluemail, and more. You will then be able to send and receive emails without having to log in to your Site Essence account.

Steps for Outlook

Step 1: Open the Outlook app on your computer.

Step 2: Click File in the top left corner.

Step 3: Type your email address. Click Advanced Options, check Let me set up my account manually, then click Connect.

Step 4: Choose IMAP when you see the advanced setup options.

Step 5: In the IMAP settings:

• For both incoming and outgoing server, type: mail.(your domain name). For example, mail.domain.co.za

• Set Encryption Method to SSL/TLS

• Incoming port: 993

• Outgoing port: 465
  Click Next.

Step 6: Enter your email password and click Connect.

Steps for Gmail

Please follow the steps below for the Gmail app.

Step 1: Open your Gmail app on any device.

Step 2: Select an option to add a new email account.

Step 3: On "set up email", choose "Other".

Step 4: Type the (name)@(your domain) email address.

Step 5: On account type, choose IMAP.

Step 6: Enter the email account password (this is the password you created for the email account).

Step 7: You will see "incoming server". Press next.

Step 8: You will see "outgoing server". Change security type to SSL/TLS.

Step 9: You will see "Account options". Press Next.

Step 10: In the final step, add the name you want people to see when receiving emails from this particular email account.

You can repeat the same process to link more email accounts on your Gmail app.
