Using Your VoIP

1. Can I use VoIP on my cellphone?

Yes. You can install the Site Essence VoIP app on Android or iOS and make and receive calls using your VoIP number.

You just need an internet connection through mobile data or Wi-Fi. 

2. Can I use VoIP without buying a physical phone?

Yes. The app allows you to use your existing smartphone for VoIP calls.

You can also use compatible web, desktop or SIP-device options. 

3. Can I connect multiple phones at the same time?

No.

Your Site Essence VoIP service is designed to connect to one compatible device at a time. It does not ring multiple devices simultaneously. 

4. Does Site Essence VoIP include PBX features?

No.

Site Essence VoIP is a straightforward VoIP calling service and does not include PBX features. 

5. What happens if my internet connection goes down?

Because VoIP uses your internet connection, you won't be able to make or receive VoIP calls while your internet connection is unavailable.

For load shedding or internet outages, keeping a mobile phone available as a backup is recommended.
